About My Alaskan Back Yard

My Alaskan Back Yard is a Youtube channel created in 2017 as a repository on the NET for my videos . I occasionally also post commentary there as well.
I am moving off Youtube because of their censorship. check the contact page to find us on the net in the future.
Most of the videos feature destinations around my little slice of heaven Known as the Matanuska Valley in the State of Alaska.

We try and entertain as well as inform and want to share what we see everyday in our backyard, be it a Moose or a fantastic scenic view.

We started out life as U.S.Army trained photographers and motion picture cameramen, many years ago ,back during the Vietnam war.

Now days, as retired people we finally have the time to indulge our passion for Photography in Alaska and this site is a result of that.
